True North Aid’s mission (from their web site) is to provide practical humanitarian support to northern and remote Indigenous communities in Canada.
True North Aid is a Canadian charity that works with an Indigenous Advisory Committee and Elders to build relationships, advocate, and create space for Indigenous peoples. This organization combats lack of access to essential resources in health and wellness, education, food, economic sovereignty and housing security. These inequities are particularly magnified in northern and remote communities.
In 2025, they supported 85 986 people, and 173 communities in Canada.
