Mum Luanne A. Walton
First Majority Rainbow Girl to Serve as Canada’s Supreme Member
A Rainbow journey from the start
Her Rainbow path began as a Charter member of Westmorland Assembly #23 in Moncton, New Brunswick. She was part of the first group from Westmorland to receive the Grand Cross of Colour in 1980, and served as the Assembly’s sixth Worthy Advisor. She served Grand Assembly as Grand Worthy Advisor 1984-1985.
When she moved to Ottawa in 1990, she joined Ottawa Assembly #3, serving on the Advisory Board (1992–1995) and as Mother Advisor in 1993. She joined the Senior Grand Executive Committee in 1995 and became its Chairperson in 1998.

Renewing Rainbow
From 2000 to 2002, Luanne served as the only international member of the Rainbow Renewal Task Force — a group of 15 women charged with revitalizing the organization.
Leadership at Supreme Assembly
Mum Luanne was elected to the House of Gold in 2012, proudly installed during the sessions Canada co-hosted with Michigan.
